Born and raised in Boston, MA, Nick’s obsession with moving images inspired his migration to Los Angeles, CA. Nick founded Stept Studios (, where he still serves as creative director. In addition to his work with Stept, Nick works as a commercial and documentary director for a variety of production companies and agencies. 

His work has taken him around the globe. From orbiting waterfalls in Iceland to chasing RAM trucks through the desert. He has told stories featuring the world’s greatest athletes, lifestyles, and brands.  

Nick has recently been enlisted by The North Face, Under Armour, ESPN, and Oakley to produce their dynamic brand anthems. He specializes in visual based imagery and fast moving pictures.  His portfolio features national TV spots, branded content, and feature-length films.
